Studio Policies

Payment can either be made at each lesson, or in sets of 4.
Payment is preferred in cash or check, but will also be accepted via online card payment with a 2.9% fee.
Rates are firm, but there are a few sliding-scale slots open to those that need it—please reach out if you are interested in that! [SLIDING SCALE SLOTS ARE FULL FOR NOW]

Please do not bring your child to a lesson if they are sick! Just let me know that you will be missing!
No show lessons or lessons cancelled within 24 hours will be charged the full lesson rate.
If you are cancelling a lesson with more than 24 hours notice, for any reason, you are welcome to pick any open time slot in the student portal to make it up.
If your schedule changes, please let me know and we will find you a new time slot!

Signing up for lessons brings the expectation of practice! Lessons are meant to compliment and direct the work that happens at home.
For young, beginning students, practice should happen for 5 minutes every day! Practice time will increase with age and experience.
Parents need to encourage and support their students to practice every day, to keep up with the skills learned in their lessons, so they can progress!
Parents are welcome to sit in on lessons to feel comfortable with the expectations for their student.
